Hello! This post comes a little bit later than I had planned as our 2019 began with an unexpected bump when Daisy ended up in hospital for three days with a nasty chest infection. Fortunately, she’s much better now and back to her wonderful diva self and not sleeping in her own bed again so normal business has definitely resumed – lucky me!
Anyway, following our hospital stay and her discharge it’s been lovely (and the doctor’s orders) to savour a few quiet days indoors recovering and a slower pace of life (alongside approximately 85 Disney’s and a healthy dose of cabin fever on the side!). This in turn has called for comfortable clothing thus explaining the reason this whole post came about – tah dah…
While I’m a big fan of dressing up, there are some days when I just want comfort instead. Whether I’m off work with Daisy or we have swimming, loungewear is definitely one of my guilty pleasures these days and I’ve invested in far more pieces since having Daisy – so much so it takes up a healthy portion of my wardrobe. However, it’s not just reserved for days at home, teamed with trainers and a tailored masculine coat it’s instantly acceptable for wearing outdoors too.
Last month I picked up this matching set from F&F in Tesco on a whim when I was food shopping and I’m not too proud to admit I’ve all but lived in it since. It’s as comfortable as pyjamas and worn together or separately, it has more than earned its price tag and even a few compliments along the way too!
I may not get to lounge around as much as I’d like to these days but my love for a comfy co-ord is strong so I’ve put together my edit of the best available now for you to enjoy!
