Well hello Autumn! September is without a doubt my favourite month of the year. Aside from it being my birthday and wedding anniversary month (my husband dreads it), it’s also the month when the really good stuff starts. Great telly (Bodyguard anyone?), great weather (cool but still sunny) and most importantly it’s the month of great fashion.
Now that the weather has cooled, poor Daisy has been the child that’s been in slightly too short clothing (oops) as she’s outgrown most of it so I’ve been on the hunt for some new bits and pieces for her. These days I justify buying clothes for Daisy far more easily than I do for myself so the second drop of Sarah Jessica Parker’s collaboration with Gap Kids couldn’t have landed at a better time…
In the interest of transparency Daisy was very kindly gifted some pieces from the collection ( I would have been more than happy to buy it though) and one of them was this amazing bunny borg coat! The sizing comes up perfect on her so I would say go for the age your child is and having shopped at Gap for Daisy since she was born I can vouch for how well made it is and how well it washes – which we all know is vital.
If we can’t have Carrie Bradshaw anymore (sob sob) then this Gap Kids collab more than makes up for it. Adding her stylish eye to the already lovely children’s clothing shop, this time around the actress has delved into her own childhood memories for inspiration. The range for both boys and girls from toddler age upwards features tartan, checks, florals and a nod to bunnies that alludes to the tradition of saying ‘rabbit, rabbit, rabbit’ on the first day of a new month for good luck. (Those that know me well know how superstitious I am so I’m very much here for this).
I’ve put together an edit of my favourite pieces from the range for your shopping pleasure. And if the Carrie withdrawal gets really bad there’s a certain pink tutu that looks more than a bit familiar…
