We are just hours away from the long Easter weekend – yay! I love a bank holiday weekend and especially Easter as it involves four days of eating chocolate, dressing up your child in all number of novelty clothing and no working. And it wouldn’t be Easter without a bunny or two, (which I am also fond of since becoming a mummy) so I was elated to see that one of the oldest and probably most iconic fictional bunnies, Miffy, has joined forces with some eggsellent (sorry) brands in time for the celebrations…
First up, Tobias & the Bear. I’ve loved this children’s clothing brand for a long time and this collaboration follows one with Peanuts last year which was equally as amazing as this one. Naturally I love this collection for it’s simple monochrome palette with flashes of yellow, but I also really like it, and the brand, for the fabric. Each piece is made from super soft jersey that’s comfortable and breathable for your little one to wear and move about in. I was actually given some leggings by my best friend when Daisy was born so I can vouch for how soft they are – and they wash really well which is equally as important IMO. Cute t-shirts, jumpers and legging are adorned with Dick Bruna’s monochrome bunny and are perfect for little boys and girls. Be quick though as this collection is selling fast!
Next it’s the turn of high street powerhouse Primark. They’ve also joined forces with the stylish bunny to deliver a capsule home collection that arrives early next month. Add a touch of Miffy to your little one’s bedroom with reversible bedlinen and cushions on offer with the striking monochrome print and splashes of yellow that also lends themselves to both little boy or girls rooms. The single duvet is just £18 while the cushion is £5.
So there you have it, now you can enjoy more than just the books featuring the famous little white bunny with your children. These lovely collections also mean you can enjoy bunny related loveliness long after the Easter weekend is over (but let’s not think about that now).
I’ve put together an edit from both of the collaborations as well as a few bits from the Miffy shop too for you to shop now. So hop to it (sorry, not sorry) and snap up some Miffy magic before it sells out…
Happy Easter & Happy Shopping!
