When your little one is behaving like an angel you want to dress them like one and what a better collection to put them in than the dreamy collaboration with Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece and Marks & Spencer. I mean who wouldn’t want to dress their little princes and princess’ like royalty?
Now she’s getting bigger and out of tiny baby clothing I have a massive problem when it comes to buying clothes for Daisy. I just cannot stop buying her clothes. While I torment myself with the pros and cons of buying something for myself these days, when it comes to her I find myself mentally saying she needs/must/would look great in an item and snapping it up in a heartbeat. I do like to dress her in comfy clothing especially as she is now crawling (which started moments after these pictures were taken – we’re in trouble now) and this range certainly ticks that box – Daisy was very happy in her new pieces.
The beautiful range for both boys and girls aged 0-5 is available today hitting the shop floor and online – arriving the same day as Alexa Chung’s second womenswear collection if you fancy treating yourself (nudge, nudge, wink, wink). The super cute collection for M&S is inspired by the Princess’ own successful children’s line but with a much more affordable price tag. Each piece from the range is monogrammed with a tiny metallic crown or her own initials – every detail is taken care of and all the fabrics are so soft and machine washable. You can view the whole Marie Chantal collection here.
Although slightly more traditional than Daisy’s usual attire (this is not a bad thing for the record) this whole collection is beautiful and can be dressed up or down for everyday. She is not even a year old and is now the proud owner of fluffy soft cashmere. Cashmere! I know it’s not right to be jealous of your child’s wardrobe but I am a little bit – in all my years in fashion I own one cashmere jumper!
I’d love to hear what you think of the collection.
