If the man in your life is anything like mine, when asked what he would like for Father’s Day he will simply say he doesn’t want anything and that he’d rather not have a fuss made – however we all know this is not necessarily true. Of course they want to be spoiled like we do on Mother’s Day so if you haven’t already (like me), now is the time to get him something special.
Now if I’m honest, in years gone by Father’s Day would mean a hungover dash to the shops (more than likely at Euston Station) to buy something/anything for my Dad en route home for a family roast dinner – shameful, I know (sorry Dad) . But as with most things, now I’m a parent I look at it through different eyes so Daisy (read: I) will be going all out to make sure Mr Style & Substance has a lovely day starting with a lie in. Presents aside, it’s the perfect opportunity to spend the day with family – maybe the sun might even make an appearance too (one can hope).
So if you are stuck for what to get your Dad this year I have put together some great gift suggestions that he will love to wake up to…
And for first time Dads why not get him something memorable – this Mr Men book can be personalised by your little one and the baby vest is a lovely touch that can be worn on the day and kept forever.
