While you can debate the merits of buying some clothing, one thing you can be certain of is investing in a new coat will be worth it – the weather will get colder!
As a self confessed coat addict I definitely have enough to see me through but that still didn’t stop me buying yet another one, a style I didn’t own (shockingly), a leopard print coat.
Mine is from New Look and a bargain under £50 but the sheer abundance of leopard print coats currently available prove it’s popularity. The term ‘statement piece’ is bandied around a lot in the fashion world but this is a fine example of one – the key to making it such is to keep all clothing underneath simple. The minimal tailored cut of the longline Crombie style works to show off the print and also suits most body shapes. The only choice you have to make is which print you prefer. For beginners there are muted tonal versions but established leopard print lovers can embrace the punchier, faux fur styles out there ripe for the picking. You can put aside any Bet Lynch fears, this time around the print is less brassy more classy.
Here are my favourite on offer now.
